Entry fees are non-refundable, but the full registration amount (minus processing fees) may be transferred to another future TCTRuns by contacting team@tctruns.com at least 24 hours before the scheduled event.
Runners may purchase a Troy’s California Trail Runs sport-tek technical fabric shirt during the registration process, or at the event supply permitting. All shirts are gender-specific and come in sizes ranging from ladies XS all the way to mens XXL and youth S to XL.
Race day registration is available beginning at 6:45 AM.

6:30 AM — Almaden Quicksilver Park – Hacienda parking lot opens
6:45 AM – 7:45 AM — Registration/Sign-In/Bib-Pick Up Open
7:45 AM — Buses start taking runners up to the Mt Umunhum parking lot (a 20 to 25 minute bus ride)
8:45 AM — Trail briefing
9:00 AM — Race Start
Please arrive early as we expect a full event.
Course Information & Maps
Toilets are available at the start/finish line. They are first-come first-served, so please be respectful of other runners waiting for and needing to use the toilets. Toilets also available at ALL aid stations.
The course is Point to Point.
Courses will be marked with single solid PINK color ribbons tied to clothespins, ORANGE cones, signs & gypsum.
Half Marathon (2:30pm overall cutoff, 5.5 Hour Time Limit)
Course Ascent: 1,909 feet.
Race Bibs: Runners will have red-numbered bibs on a white background.
Course Ribbons:
No Ribbons for the first 3 miles on the single track Mt. Umunhum Trail.
Follow pink ribbons down to Woods Parking Lot Aid Station (Mile 7.9, Toilet Available).
Then Follow pink ribbons to the HALF MARATHON FINISH.
Drop Bags will be returned to the Hacienda parking lot Runner Check in Staging Area/Finish Line.
Any runners that would like clothing to be taken to the Finish area please give to staff at Runner Check in & at the Woods Parking Lot Aid Station.
Parking and Carpooling
Parking is available at the Hacienda entrance parking lot, carpooling encouraged.
Please park at the Almaden Quicksilver Park the Hacienda parking lot back overflow parking lot.
Additional parking if needed the Casa Grande is located down the street approximately 0.2 miles on Almaden Road North of the Hacienda parking lot entrance.
Shuttles from the Finish Line to the StartLine
We will be shuttling runners from the finish line at Hacienda entrance parking lot to the start line at the top of Mt. Umunhum at 7:45 AM.
ATTENTION This event is a Point to Point event & will Require busing runners from the start line from the Hacienda parking lot to the Mt Umunhum parking lot.
ATTENTION Runners we are informing you not to have anyone drop you off at the Start line.
The Mt Umunhum parking lot is very small & our arrangement with Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District would be to not overwhelm their parking lot with our event.
This must be honored by all participants please so we continue to have a good working relationship with this agency.
We will have staff monitoring the Mt Umunhum parking lot entrance insuring nobody will disregard our promise to Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District Thx.
Transportation to the start of the event is approximately 20-25 minutes long.
Crew
Crews/Spectators all possible locations to see your Runner at and has extremely limited parking available along the entire course.

Please always drive safely & slowly all of the roads are extremely STEEP with lots of turns.
FYI ATTENTION many bicyclist are riding on Hicks & Mt Umunhum Roads drivers please use EXTREME CAUTION & CONSIDERATION.
