Updated Brown’s Ravine Half & Full Marathon

1. ALL RUNNERS PLEASE PLAN ON ARRIVING TO START LINE / BROWNS RAVINE HOBIE COVE
2. REGISTRATION OPENS AT 7AM.
3. ALL RUNNERS WILL START RACE AT BROWNS RAVINE / HOBIE COVE, THERE WILL BE NO SHUTTLE AT SALMON FALLS, IF YOU ARE USING THE SHUTTLE PLEASE ARRIVE AND PARK AT THE START LINE.
4. HALF-MARATHONERS, AT SALMON FALLS FINISH, MILE 13.1, YOU WILL BE SHUTTLED BACK TO YOUR CAR AT BROWNS RAVINE / HOBIE COVE UPON FINISH.
5. MARATHONERS WILL COMPLETE MARATHON COURSE BY RETURNING TO SALMON FALLS PARKING LOT.
6. DISREGARD INFORMATION ON SHUTTLE ON REST OF PAGE AND SEE YOU ON SATURDAY!

About the Race

Come join us for a 95% single track 5% dirt road trail race alongside the beautiful Folsom Lake. Located just outside of the Sacramento, this race is primarily run on the Southside Trail. All very appealing single track, great running, and some technical sections alongside gentle rolling hills in El Dorado county. The trail parallels Folsom Lake, oak trees, lush green grass, nice scenery, views of Folsom Lake, the surrounding foothills, and the snowcapped Sierra Mountains.

The Half Marathon race starts at the Brown’s Ravine Assembly Area and will finish at the Salmon Falls Parking Lot / Sweetwater Trail Head.

• Entry fees are non-refundable, but the full registration amount (minus processing fees) may be transferred to another future TCTRuns by contacting team@tctruns.com at least 24 hours before the scheduled event.
• Runners may purchase a Troy’s California Trail Runs sport-tek technical fabric shirt during the registration process, or at the event supply permitting.  All shirts are gender-specific and come in sizes ranging from ladies XS all the way to mens XXL and youth S to XL.

Schedule

Please arrive early as we expect a full event.

1. Charter bus will be in place at Salmon Falls Parking Lot at 6:30AM. This is the finish line for the half marathon. Runners can park their car here.

2. Bus will leave Salmon Falls Parking Lot for Brown’s Ravine between 6:45AM – 7:00AM. You will need to pay to park at the Salmon Falls Parking Lot. Additional parking information below.

3. Marathon runners will park directly at Brown’s Ravine. Half Marathoners who do not want to use the bus and have a ride can be dropped off by friends/family/carpool at the Brown’s Ravine parking lot directly. There is a $12 day-use fee at the Folsom Point Parking lot, additional parking information below.

4. Registration will be at the Brown’s Ravine Parking lot (START) starting at 7:00AM. 

5. If an additional shuttle bus is needed, it will pickup and depart from Salmon Falls Parking Lot by 7:30AM at the very latest. 

6. Race start will begin at 8:00AM at the Brown’s Ravine Assembly Area.

Toilets are available at the start/finish line. They are first-come first-served, so please be respectful of other runners waiting for and needing to use the toilets. Toilets also available at some aid stations along the course.
