Message from Troy Limb (Race Director):
50k 26Mi 16Mi – Due to rain in the forecast & already current muddy trails both agencies will not allow me vehicle access to properly & safely manage the intended courses.
Runners my apologies for not being able to provide you all with my intended incredible courses that everyone was looking forward to.
These trails are where I played for years in preparations for my ultra running races & I truly love this area.
I completely understand these intended courses are very intriguing widespread non repetitive that’s why I came up with these courses but unfortunately on 3/23/24 I have my hands tied with rain in the forecast & muddy trails will not allow me vehicle access to manage this event as needed.
FYI 3/23/24 Both Agencies Will Not Allow Vehicle Access To Mark the Course provide a necessary required Race Day Aid Station out on the course & course clean up.
Because of this, I’m incapable of putting on the intended courses because both agencies would not allow me vehicle access to provide the Aid Station at Mile 13 the Cottle & Lisa Killough Trail intersection.
